
Field Sales Specialist
About the Role
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for selling Client products and services to small
to medium-sized organizations and delivering excellence in customer service for all assigned accounts and
new business secured.
Requirements
· A minimum of Five (5) Ordinary Level Passes including English and Mathematics.
· Associates Degree or Tertiary education in Business would be an
asset.
· A minimum of Two (2) years experience in the telecommunications sales environment
· Experience in Account Management
· Knowledge of network Services, telecommunications corporate products and services
· Proven track record of success in sales
· Strong Negotiator
· Sound consultative selling skills
· Effective Communication skills
· Exceptional in Customer Service
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a working vehicle.
Key Accountabilities
· Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly and annual sales quotas as set by Management
· Canvassing assigned territories to identify potential SME customers with a goal of increasing market share for Liberty Business
· Generating leads and identifying prospective customers using business directories, existing
customer databases, networking and other successful avenues, including cold calling.
· Meeting with business owners/decision makers to discover their needs and introducing Liberty
Business solutions to address those needs based on product features and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
· Providing intelligence to management to inform the development of competitive and viable marketing and pricing strategies.
· Account Management to ensure successful installation and maintenance of excellence in customer service post installation.
· Working closely with internal teams to identify opportunities to drive revenue growth.
· Ensuring all customers are on an active contract.
· Answering customers' questions about products, prices, availability and credit terms and providing quotations or other bid specifications where required.
· Negotiating prices or terms of sales or service agreements
· Adeptly uses Salesforce and other tools for accurate sales forecasting through understanding of the Client’s business cycle, financial constraints, evaluation criteria, concepts and attitudes of key Client decision makers.
· Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing.
· Compliance with company-defined processes, e.g. Clean Orders, Contract Execution, Objective Setting, etc
· Effective communication with other teams to facilitate the handling of customer queries, execution of service requests and delivery of orders, management of Accounts Receivable and other sales processes.
· Maintaining a high level of knowledge about our existing products and services, alongside our competitors options, in order to highlight Client’s competitive advantage to prospective customers.
